The co-founders, Kellie Pean and Alyssa Convertini, met while pursuing careers in marketing, music strategy and branded content at renowned companies. Dedicated to their craft, and in pursuit of equality and representation, they set off to create anew – Brand New. It was conceived through a shared journey and dream.
Kellie: Prior to Brand New, Kellie served as the Brand Manager at Diageo North America, and more recently, a senior media executive at Valence Media, where she led integrated marketing for Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. An Ohio native, Kellie lives in New York with her husband and their three children. Kellie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University of Ohio and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Alyssa: Prior to Brand New, Alyssa served as the Executive Director-Branded Content and Music Strategy at Valence Media. She helped define and build out Valence’s integrated marketing and branded content teams, which worked across all Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Vibe, Spin, Stereogum, and Dick Clark Productions properties. Born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Alyssa received her bachelor’s degree in Television & Radio Production at the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
